Thinking about Death & Dying
I believe that our Spirit has our life plan, and our goal is to wake up, step into consciousness, and let our Spirit lead us rather than our mind or ego. We need these aspects, but they work best in harmony with our higher self.
So I was feeling some pressure about age and how much time I have left (influenced by someone else's existential crisis - hello, empath), and I had this awareness float in that changed everything.
I don't have to stress about when I'll die because I'll die when it's time for me to. It's all divinely aligned, so no need to fear or spend time and energy there.
I suppose it's similar to believing that god has a plan for you; only realizing it's actually your own plan makes a big difference.
This concept requires certainty in your truth and in your understanding of life and its purpose.
If you are still in a Trust & Faith space (no shade for that at all - it's part of our evolution), this concept will hold some of the same energy as the religious space; only you'll have more autonomy in knowing that it is your Spirt, your higher self, not someone or thing that is out of your own control.
This concept and this work have supported me at other times during my life.
When our son was 14, I had a mass in my breast, and we did the biopsy, which then turned into a full excision with margins that came back precancerous. It was a whole thing until I found my grounding and clarity and stepped out of the rabbit hole the medical community was taking me down. In truth, it was a microscopic spot that wasn't cancer but might have been cancer, and they made it into a mountain. Today, I am fine.
But during this process, I had fear come up. In an unconscious state, it was just a blanket of fear. When I again found my grounding, I was able to look at the fear and understand what it was and why it was there, which then allowed me to do something with it.
You see, this work gives you the ability to understand what you are experiencing, which gives you the power to address it.
So here's what I found - when I picked about the fear and looked at it- when I boiled it down to what I was actually afraid of, I was afraid of leaving our son without a mother. I wasn't afraid of death; I was afraid of what his life would become.
Here's how this helped me release the fear:
I understand that each of us has our own life lessons to learn and that we can't learn them for someone (e.g., I can't learn my son's lessons for him.)
I knew that he had people in his life who would guide him, love him, and support him.
Should I die, he would work through whatever lessons he needed to learn.
Me fretting about not being in his life didn't help me, and it didn't help him.
I was able to let the fear go.
At the bottom of any energy exist the answers and the solution to whatever you are dealing with.
Learning how to see things as energy and then how to work with them as energy gives you peace, freedom, and the ability to navigate whatever life sends your way (and it actually helps you to create what you want instead of taking what you get, and gives you the ability to sidestep stuff that would otherwise derail you.)
